The Hutchinson Jaycee Water Carnival is seeking eight candidates to vie for the title of Miss Hutchinson 2009.  Candidates are judged on a combination of personality, attitude, intelligence, talent, as well as other intangible characteristics. Candidates can range in age from 18 to 25 years old, and the candidate or parents must reside in the Hutchinson area. Scholarship money will be awarded to the newly crowned Queen and Princess.  The Hutchinson Jaycee Water Carnival will be held June 15-21, 2009.  Candidates are taken on a first come, first served basis.  The deadline for the candidates is February 13, 2009.
