2011 Kiddy Day Events
Kiddy Day will begin at 10:00 a.m. in Library Square in downtown Hutchinson, where costumed children may register for judging and participation in the Kiddy Day Parade. 
Categories for the parade are:
- Movie & TV Characters
- Sports Figures
- Historical Figures
- Storybook Characters
- Pets & Animals
- Wheels & Wagons
- Clowns & Bums
- Miscellaneous
Parade entry is open to children of all ages. Parade registration ends at 10:45 a.m. The parade will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. going throughout Library Square. In case of rain, all events will be moved to the Hutchinson Recreation Center.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the parade entries that are judged to be first, second and third place winners in each of the eight categories. Prizes will be presented during the program following the parade. First place winners in each category will have the opportunity to ride on a float during the Grande Day Parade on Sunday, June 19th.
2011 Junior Royalty will be named during the Kiddy Day program. A girl’s and a boy’s bicycle will be given away through a drawing of registrants who are present.
